Halle is a sixth-year DVM/PhD candidate in the Brown Lab. Her current project investigates the use of fibrinolytic-loaded microgels to treat thrombosis in sepsis. Her other research investigates lung spheroid cell-derived exosomes as a therapy for pulmonary hypertension-associated heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (PH-HFpEF) and fibrin-targeting nanogels as a therapy for disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).
