I am a post-doctoral fellow investigating postoperative clot-enhancing therapies for neonates. I began my undergraduate degree at Clemson University and transferred to UNC-Chapel Hill to graduate with a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. My undergraduate research explored variability of ischemic injuries through manipulation of genetic determinants for collateral arterial formation. After graduating, I worked for Metabolon, a precision medicine company that uses metabolites as biomarkers for disease diagnostics. Outside of the lab, I love to read, travel, and watch movies with friends.
