Dr. Luke Tucker received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University under the tutelage of Dr. Lauren B. Priddy. His dissertation title is “Chitosan-based Biomaterials for Treatment of Acute and Chronic Osteomyelitis”. During his graduate program, he wrote two first author publications and co-authored another four publications including the “2023 International Consensus Meeting on musculoskeletal infection: Summary from the treatment workgroup and consensus on treatment in preclinical models”. He was awarded his B.S. in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University where he was co-author on an additional two papers. He has research experience in electrospinning, antimicrobial hydrogels, and preclinical models. Luke loves playing with his dog and his favorite flavor of ice cream is muscadine ripple.
