At the Brown Lab, we are dedicated to making our research accessible and engaging beyond the lab. Our team regularly participates in outreach events to share our findings and encourage interest in our research and science as a whole. We hope outreach efforts will impact the local and broader scientific community by inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Annually, we participate in the Open House hosted by the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Hospital. The Brown Lab joins the college and hospital in their efforts to provide the public tours, activities and learning experiences. It’s an excellent activity for all ages, from families looking for fun to students interested in learning about a career in veterinary medicine!
