About:

I am a PhD student that joined the Advanced Wound Healing Lab in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering in 2023. I am currently supported by the Chemistry of Life T32 Training Program within the Comparative Medicine Institute at NC State. My research interests lie in developing targeted drug delivery platforms to treat diseases related to inflammation and coagulation.

Prior to joining the lab, I graduated with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the Ohio State University with Honor’s Research Distinction in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I have previously interned as an ORISE Fellow at the Division of Complex Drug Analysis at the FDA, a bioprocessing intern at Sarepta Therapeutics, and R&D intern at Avation Medical. Outside of lab, I enjoy fitness and wellness activities such as weight training, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
