I am a PhD student in the Joint BME Department studying under Dr. Ashley Brown in the Advanced Wound Healing Lab. My current research focuses on the development of platelet-like particles that exhibit thrombin-triggered shape change at a wound site for enhanced biomimetic function. In 2022, I received my B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (MS&T). During my undergraduate career, I assisted in research in Dr. Anthony Convertine’s lab which focused on polymer synthesis techniques for controlled drug delivery, in addition to interning at Sandia National Labs and Air Force Research Labs. Outside of the lab, I am an avid reader and Formula 1 fan, and I enjoy activities such as running, hiking, and playing Pickleball!
